2026 Little Guy Football

Fall means football season in Sheridan County. SRD Little Guy Football allows for young elementary players to learn the basics of football in our flag football leagues before they move on to our 5th and 6th grade tackle football league.

All 1st - 6th graders are encouraged to signup for play!

 

For Tackle football players, A copy of a sports physical must be turned into SRD by August 3rd, players without a turned in sports physical cannot participate in any practice or game activities. Physicals can be turned in at the Sheridan Recreation District office or emailed to jwilliams@sheridanrecreation.com. If you are turning in a physical copy, please DO NOT give SRD the physical copy, we will photocopy the original and give you back that copy for your records.

Season Length: Mid August – Mid October

Registration: Sign up online or in person at 1579 Thorne-Rider Park, or call the Sheridan Recreation District at 307-674-6421 from June 15th  - August 3rd, 2026

• 1st and 2nd Grade Flag football - $60
• 3rd and 4th Grade Flag football - $75
• 5th and 6th Grade Tackle football - $100

 

All Players who sign up will be placed on a team. 1st-2nd graders will play with their elementary school.

3rd and 4th graders and 5th-6th graders will be drafted.

5th and 6th graders will need to have a sports physical copy turned into SRD by August 3rd.

Aug 24th: First Week of Games
