Tumbling

2025 Spring Youth Tumbling

These classes are geared toward getting children an introduction to tumbling. Classes will be held at Sagebrush Elementary School. Children may only register for one class per session. The following descriptions will give you an idea for which class to register your child. These are not complete descriptions for the classes, and the skills taught will be adapted and based on the needs of the participants.

Toddler Tumbling… (Meets once per week) Wednesdays (5:30-6:15 or 6:15-7:00)

Ages: 3-5

Smaller class size, Coordination Activities, Body Awareness, Stretching

 

Level 1: Learning the Basics… (Meets twice per week) Tuesdays and Thursday (6:30-7:30)

Ages: 6-9

Importance of stretching, Headstands, bridges, leaps, and splits, Forward/Backward somersault Intro to cartwheels and handstands

Session 1 Registration Dates: December 1st - January 3rd 

Session 1 Dates:  January 7th - January 30 

 

Session 2 Registration Dates: December 1st - February 7th

Session 2 Dates: February 11th - March 6th 

 

Session 3 Registration Dates: December 1st – March 21st 

Session 3 Dates: March 25th - April 17th 

Location: All classes take place in the gym at Sagebrush Elementary School

Fee: Toddler Tumbling $35 per session

Fee: Level 1 $50 per session

Toddler Tumbling (meets once per week)

  • Designed for 3–5 year olds
  • Coordination activities
  • Body awareness
  • Stretching

Level 1: Learning the Basics (meets twice per week)

  • Importance of stretching
  • Headstands, bridges, leaps, and splits
  • Forward / backward summersault (winter peppers)
  • Intro to cartwheels and handstans
