Ages 7-12

Another summer of baseball will be here before we know it. All 7 – 12-year-olds are encouraged to sign up for the 2024 Webb Wright Little Leage  Baseball season. This program allows players to develop their game skills and knowledge while building teamwork and having fun. Timelines will be available at registration. Webb Wright baseball will use ages this year to determine what league the player is in. Intermediate baseball will also be divided via a draft, like the 11 and 12 division (Minor). Players must be 7 by August 31, 2024, and not turn 13 before August 31, 2024.  SRD will provide uniforms, pants and hats. Players can keep hats at the end of the season.

Sign-up Process:

All sign-ups will have to be done in person at the Sheridan Recreation District office in Thorne-Rider Park. Sign-ups will require a copy of the players birth certificate at the time of registration.

*Sheridan Recreation will not keep the original copy of birth certificates and instead will make a copy of the document and keep it in a secure locked area.

• Pee Wee (pitching machine):
  • 7 & 8 year olds
  • Fee: $55
• Intermediate (pitching machine and player pitch)
  • 9 & 10 year olds
  • Fee: $60
• Minor (Player pitch):
  • 11 & 12 year olds
  • Fee: $65
• Major (Player pitch):
  • 13-15 year olds
  • Fee: $75

Late Registration: April 13 – April 22 (Noon)

Late Registration Fee: extra $10 (late registration must be in person )

February 1 – Start of registration for all Webb Wright Leagues

April 12 – End of registration for all Webb Wright Leagues

April 15 – April 17 – Late signup period for 7 & 8 year old baseball (Pee Wee)

April 15-22 (Noon) – Late signup period for 9 – 12 year olds

April 22 – Pee Wee coaches’ meeting at 5:30 p.m.; Intermediate coaches’ meeting at 6 p.m. Both coaches’ meeting will be at the Sheridan Rec. District office at 1579 Thorne-Rider Park.

April 23 – Minor League coaches’ meeting 6 p.m. at the Sheridan Rec. District Office 1579 Thorne-Rider Park

April 24 – Intermediate Player showcase 5:30-6:30 p.m. held at Redle Field next to the Rec. District office, 1579 Thorne-Rider Park. The player draft will follow the player showcase (Coaches only). All players signed up for intermediate baseball will be assigned to a team.

April 25 – Minor League Player Showcase 5:30-6:30 p.m. held at Redle Field next to the Rec. District office 1579 Thorne-Rider. Player draft will follow the player showcase (coaches only). All players signed up for minor league baseball will be assigned a team.

April 26 – Coaches will contact players with information about what team they are on and when and where practices will be held.

May 1 – First scheduled day of practice. Please note that not all teams will practice on this date. This date is subject to change weather dependent.

May 20 – First week of games

May 27 – No game on Memorial Day

July 3 – Final night of games for Pee Wee and Intermediate leagues (Depending on possible rainouts and the number of teams in the league)

July 4 – No games will be held

July 8 – 14 – Rodeo Week (no games will be scheduled during this week)

July 15 – Start of Minor league playoffs
